Trip to the Garcia Caves

At the agreed time, we will meet you at your hotel in Monterrey. Following that, we will embark on a one-hour minibus journey to the town of Garcia to explore its magnificent caves. Before reaching our destination, a short stop will be made for those who wish to grab a coffee or have breakfast on their own.

Upon arriving at Sierra del Fraile, we will board a cable car that will take us directly to the entrance of the Grutas de García. As we ascend, you will have the chance to marvel at the unique rocky scenery, providing a perfect opportunity for a memorable photo!

Once we reach our destination, we will enter the renowned Garcia Caves, where we will explore a vast network of over 2 km (1.2 miles) of caverns. Our knowledgeable guide will unveil the incredible secrets hidden within these caves. Among the stunning formations to discover are the altar to the Virgin of Guadalupe, the Mirador de la Mano viewpoint, the Salón del Aire, and the remarkable Christmas Tree, along with many other concealed nooks. A relaxing cable car ride will also give us a chance to enjoy the breathtaking views from a distinctive vantage point.

After our exploration of the caves, we will begin our return journey to your hotel in Monterrey, with a total trip duration of approximately 3 hours.

This tour includes a pickup service from hotels or accommodations situated in the downtown area of Monterrey. If you are staying outside this area, we will gather at the following meeting point: Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey.
