Our journey commences at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey, where we will gather at the agreed time before heading to the slopes of Cerro de la Silla, the renowned mountain located in Guadalupe. It is here that we will embark on this thrilling hiking route. As we ascend, you will be treated to magnificent panoramic views of the metropolitan area. Are you prepared for this adventure?

The hike spans approximately 1.55 miles (2.5 kilometers) and showcases must-see landmarks, including La Virgen, an impressive religious monument standing 39.3 feet (12 meters) tall, and the Table of the 10 Commandments, which features stone tablets that display the fundamental Catholic commandments. We will also delve into the remnants of the ancient cable car installation, a venture initiated in 1961 but that had a brief lifespan. You will uncover the story behind this intriguing piece of history during our hike!

Upon reaching the cable car lookout, enjoy a moment to soak in the unparalleled vistas of Monterrey and its surroundings. We will pause for approximately one hour, providing ample opportunity to capture stunning photographs while sharing tips to help you immortalize these experiences. Make sure your camera is ready!

Following our time at the lookout, we will either retrace our steps back to the hike's origin point or, if you choose, drop you off at a local eatery to experience the regional flavors. We will conclude our adventure four hours after we begin.
