Visiting the Museo del Acero Horno 3 immerses you in the former hub of one of the most significant steel factories globally. This is not merely a traditional museum; it serves as a center dedicated to science and technology where the past is vividly brought to life through engaging activities.
Your admission provides comprehensive access throughout the facility, including the History Gallery, which details the worldwide influence of Mexican manufacturing since 1900, and the Steel Gallery. Here, you can engage in a virtual descent of 200 m into a coal mine or replicate the experience of iron extraction.
Those intrigued by nature and science will find the Planet Earth area captivating, showcasing occurrences like earthquakes, hurricanes, and climate change. Be sure to visit the Summit Walk, where you will ascend 40 m in panoramic cabins to capture one of the most stunning views of Monterrey and Cerro de la Silla. It's the perfect moment for a photograph!
Experience the Spectacular Horno 3 Show
A standout feature of your visit is the Show del Horno, which comes included with your ticket. This unique international spectacle reenacts the steel production process with captivating special effects. You will experience the warmth of genuine flames, steam, and sparks as you find yourself within the historic Casting House. It’s truly an extraordinary journey back to the peak era of the foundry.

The Steel Museum welcomes guests during the following hours:

- Friday to Sunday: open from 12 pm to 7 pm
Be advised that all visitors must exit the premises an hour after the ticket office closes.
