Activity Overview

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Monterrey to commence this enjoyable day trip to Bustamante. Are we all set? Let's embark!

After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will embark on a short 15-minute hike leading us to the Grutas del Palmito, which were uncovered in the early 1900s.

Here, we will traverse a 256-meter (839 ft) walkway, taking in the stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations. Following this, we will stop at a nearby restaurant, giving you the chance to enjoy a well-deserved lunch on your own.

Once re-energized, we will proceed to explore the historic center of Bustamante, where we can appreciate its most iconic landmarks, including the parish of San Miguel Arcángel, the alley of the Kiss, and the museum of Simple Things.

We will conclude our journey by returning to the starting point, where we will part ways after an enriching experience lasting a total of 8 hours.
