Body Rafting Overview
The journey begins at Contrada Sciara, our meeting point, where you’ll set out on a body rafting adventure designed to let you glide through the Alcantara Gorges. This exhilarating activity is an ideal way to appreciate this extraordinary environmental landscape!
Upon arrival, we’ll dedicate 30 minutes to gear up. An instructor will conduct a safety briefing and provide some valuable technique tips. Once we are properly equipped, we’ll board a vehicle for a brief ride to the entry of the gorges.
As we delve into the Alcantara Gorges, we’ll plunge into the refreshing waters. The journey will reveal stunning canyon rock formations, recognized for their remarkable basalt prisms, which were formed by the cooling of magma in river waters. With our bodies floating, we’ll navigate through 700 meters (0.4 miles) of thrilling rapids and small waterfalls, ensuring a fun-filled experience!
After approximately 1.5 hours of unforgettable body rafting, we will return to the vehicle for the ride back to the starting location, providing you the chance to change and conclude this adventure.
Requirements for Participation
This activity is not recommended for individuals over 80 years of age. Additionally, participants must be at least 125 cm (4'1 feet) tall to join in on the fun.

Important information
At the designated time, you must make your way to the OFF-RIDE offices (C.da Sciara S.N, C, 98030 Motta Camastra ME, Italy). Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Please bring a swimming costume and towel.
