Salzburg Day Trip

Salzburg, renowned as the birthplace of Mozart, stands out as one of Austria's most enchanting and sought-after tourist hotspots. This journey will also take us through the picturesque Lake District, famously featured in the musical "The Sound of Music."

Details of the Day Trip

Our adventure commences at Sonnenstrasse, 3. Departing from Munich, we will travel toward Austria, traversing the beautiful Alpine region before reaching Salzburg, the nation's premier destination.

Upon arrival in Salzburg, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will explore the exquisite Mirabell Palace gardens, gaze upon the facade of the house where Mozart was born, and visit the Royal residence, alongside countless Baroque period treasures.

Following our scenic bus tour, you will have free time to savor a meal, wander through the city, or hike up to the castle.

On our return to Munich, we will journey through the Lake District, stopping at the breathtaking Wolfgangsee. Here, if desired, you may embark on a cruise from the charming town of St. Wolfgang.

As we pass through the idyllic landscapes from "The Sound of Music", we will make our way back to Munich, arriving around 7 pm.

Essential Information

During November and December, cruise options may be adjusted due to inclement weather, allowing more time to explore Salzburg. Between August and October, the potential for roadworks may increase travel times, occasionally making the cruise unfeasible. It's important to remember that the primary focus of our trip is to fully appreciate the beauty of Salzburg!
