If you have a keen interest in modern history, our tour of the Third Reich and Dachau Concentration Camp offers a profound opportunity to delve into one of the most significant yet disturbing chapters of German history.

Third Reich + Dachau Concentration Camp Tour

We will commence our journey at the Munich Central Train Station, where the exploration of Germany's Third Reich and Dachau begins. Throughout this experience, you will gain insight into pivotal locations tied to Adolf Hitler's ascent and the development of Nazism across Germany and Europe.

As we wander through Munich's Old Town, various landmarks will draw our attention, including the venue where Hitler became involved with the Nazi Party and the historic site of the former Gestapo headquarters. Additionally, we will visit the location of the Beer Hall Putsch, an event also known as the 'Munich Putsch,' which occurred in 1923.

After spending approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes discovering Munich's history, you will have an hour of free time to explore at your own pace. Subsequently, we will head to Königsplatz, located close to the Munich Central Station, where we will board a train to Dachau. The train ride lasts about 30 minutes and will take us to the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site.

Upon arrival, we will engage in a comprehensive 5-hour guided tour of the camp and its museum. Dachau was the first concentration camp established by the Nazis in Germany during the Holocaust, serving as a template for subsequent camps.

During our visit, we will encounter a range of exhibits, including photographs, documents, reconstructed barracks, the crematorium, and administrative offices. We will also uncover numerous lesser-known narratives connected to this site and its figures, such as Heinrich Himmler, the officer who established the camp.

Finally, we will return by train to Munich, where we will conclude our experience and bid farewell.
