Excursion Overview

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Munnar at 9:30 am, as we embark in a 4x4 vehicle heading west toward the forests of Anakulam. Prepare to encounter elephants within their natural environment!

After approximately two hours of travel, we will reach the viewpoint in Anakulam, situated near a tranquil lake where elephants are often seen bathing and drinking. You’ll have the chance to observe these majestic creatures from a distance of less than 165 feet (50 meters)!

While we take in the sight of the elephants and their young, you'll learn intriguing facts about these gentle giants. Do you know why they are considered sacred in India? Or the lifespan they can achieve? These insights will be shared throughout the journey!

Once you’ve captured all the pictures you desire, we’ll head back to the jeep for our return trip to your accommodation, concluding the excursion around 6 pm.
