Letchmi Hills + Munnar Tea Plantation Trek

We will collect you at the arranged time from your accommodation in Munnar or an alternative meeting site of your preference. Once settled in a minibus, our journey will take us to the outskirts of the city, setting the stage to immerse ourselves in untouched Indian nature.

Our adventure will begin with a 7 to 10-kilometer (4.3 to 6.2-mile) trek through the Letchmi hills and the scenic tea plantations of Munnar. As we trek, we'll marvel at the vast tea gardens characteristic of this region, gradually ascending to an elevation of 2450 meters (8038 ft)!

Beyond the tea plantations, we'll be serenaded by the melodic chirps of birds soaring above the Munnar mountains. Additionally, we’ll encounter coffee and cardamom fields, learning about distinctive agricultural practices in India as we explore these fertile lands.

As we transition from the plantation zones, we will enter verdant forest landscapes. Continuing our ascent, we will be rewarded with sweeping views of the tea valley, the Idukki Dam, and the notable Anai Mudi, recognized as the tallest peak in Southern India.

After four fulfilling hours of exploration, we will conclude our tour by returning you to your hotel or the chosen meeting point.
