Private El Bosque Trip + Canaán Hot Springs
Description
Embark on a day trip that immerses you in the stunning wilderness of central Colombia. This journey includes a visit to a local farm and a scenic walk through the picturesque landscapes of El Bosque. You'll also have the opportunity to unwind in the soothing waters of the Canaán hot springs.
Exclusive El Bosque Expedition + Canaán Hot Springs
Our adventure begins at 7 am, where we'll gather at Carrera 4ª de Murillo. From this meeting point, we will embark on an exciting journey. A comfortable vehicle will transport us for two hours to El Bosque, where we will engage in a private walking tour en route to the rejuvenating hot springs of Canaán. Before we commence our trek, a stop at a local farm will allow us to enjoy a hearty country breakfast featuring broth, chocolate, eggs, and arepas.
After satisfying our appetites, we will take a brief tour of the farm premises, where we can observe a variety of native plants. Are you familiar with the wax palm? We will explore the unique characteristics of this indigenous plant found in Quindío.
Subsequently, we will commence our walk towards the hot springs of Canaán. This breathtaking natural retreat, tucked away in the mountains, offers you three hours of leisure to soak and relax.
From 12 to 2 pm, we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch that includes soup or a starter, a serving of rice, either meat or trout, salad, and refreshing fruit juice. A delightful treat!
The tour concludes between 6 and 7 pm, returning to our original spot in Murillo.
