Málaga Theatrical Night Exploration
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, top hats symbolized sophistication, a trend that has long faded. Nevertheless, our guide will don one alongside other period attire. You might wonder why—join us at the statue of Cardinal Herrera Oria, where this captivating theatrical exploration of Málaga's enigmas and folklore takes flight.
As the sun sets, Málaga unveils an unknown aspect. Strolling through the historic center, your enigmatic guide will share the city’s most puzzling secrets... and they won’t be alone! Expect 3 theatrical performances interwoven throughout the tour, but there's more to unfold.
The adventure begins at Plaza de la Constitución, where we’ll recount tales of revolts and capital punishment that once occurred around this square. Shortly after, we’ll admire the magnificent Málaga Cathedral, affectionately referred to as "La Manquita." Here, we’ll learn how faith occasionally led to unforeseen consequences.
Next, we’ll pause at the Hospital de Santo Tomás, where the walls seem to echo past stories of agony and demise. Our journey continues through the winding, mysterious streets of the old town, where spine-chilling accounts rooted in true events will bring to life notorious crimes that once gripped the city, folklore of otherworldly beings, and aspects of Málaga’s concealed narrative.
Concluding this exploration of the unknown, after 1.5 hours, we’ll find ourselves on Calle Alcazabilla, just outside the Tourist Office.
