Your day begins between 8:00 am and 8:15 am with pickup from your accommodation in Naples, the train station, or the port, based on your reservation. Prepare to immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of this remarkable city!
We will kick off the experience with a guided sightseeing journey through Naples, offering a comfortable way to explore the charm of the historic district. From the vehicle, enjoy splendid views of the city's iconic structures. There will be opportunities to pause and capture memorable photographs along the way.
During our tour, you'll be able to appreciate the Naples Cathedral, uncover the fascinating past of the Castel Nuovo, and stroll through the renowned Piazza del Plebiscito, where you can view the impressive Royal Palace and the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola. Also, we’ll share insights into the city’s intriguing connections with Spain, culminating at the scenic Posillipo viewpoint.
Following our two-hour exploration of Naples, we will proceed to the renowned ruins of Pompeii. Here, one of the globe’s most significant archaeological sites awaits, providing a glimpse into the daily lives of its ancient inhabitants during the Roman Empire prior to the catastrophic eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you will visit key sites including the forum, baths, theatre, and other remarkable structures.
After concluding our tour of Pompeii, a delicious lunch featuring pizza and a drink will be served. Enjoy!
Our final destination on this comprehensive tour will be the awe-inspiring Mount Vesuvius. Prepare for a short hike to its summit, which stands at an elevation of 4,000 feet (1,200 meters). After a 30-minute ascent, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Bay of Naples.
Afterwards, we will board the bus to conclude our day, returning you to your hotel or designated meeting points.

Kindly note that the pickup service at the Naples port is exclusively available for cruise passengers. For guests staying in the city, pickups will be arranged from hotels or the train station. Also, be informed that a guide may not be present during the Mount Vesuvius portion of the tour.

Hotel pickup
If you've chosen to be picked up from your accommodation, you'll need to arrange an exact pickup time and place on the day before the tour. Port or train station pickup
The timings are as follows for pickup from these locations:
- Pickup from the port: At 8 am at the exit of the Terminal Passageri of the Stazione Maritima (Molo Angioino)
- Pickup from the train station: At 8:10 am outside the station, in front of the STAR Hotel Terminus entrance
We recommend arriving 10 minutes early.
