At the designated hour, our team will meet you at your chosen location to commence this excursion to Pompeii and Herculaneum. Say goodbye to Naples as we travel back through time.

In approximately thirty minutes, we will arrive at Herculaneum, a site of immense archaeological significance in Italy. Here, you’ll enjoy 2 hours of leisure time to navigate this ancient Roman settlement, which, similar to Pompeii, was entombed by lava in 79 AD.

As you wander through the site, you’ll encounter some of the most notable remnants of Herculaneum, including the Casa dei Cervi and the Sacello degli Augustali. The supplied audio guide will provide captivating details about daily life in the city and what transpired on its final day.

After exploring Herculaneum, we will reconvene and proceed to Pompeii. Upon arrival, our guide will narrate the history of this remarkable city that was buried under volcanic ash and lava. For the next 2 hours, we will delve into the city’s main archaeological features, such as the House of the Faun, the Amphitheatre, and the House of Menander.

Following our visit to the archaeological site, a break will be taken to savor a dish of pasta or pizza at a traditional restaurant in Pompeii. What better way to conclude the day?

We will return to the original meeting point in Naples approximately 8 hours later.
