Mount Vesuvius Electric Bike & Hike Tour

Embark on an electric bike adventure around Mount Vesuvius departing from Naples, where you will explore and hike the picturesque trails within the Vesuvius National Park.

Tour Overview

At the scheduled meeting time, we convene at the Napoli Centrale railway station. Here, you will receive a ticket for the train ride to Torre Annunziata, where our journey of exploring the volcanic vistas of Mount Vesuvius begins. Prepare yourself for an exhilarating day ahead!

Once the group has gathered, we will make our way to the starting point of our adventure, where electric bikes will be allocated. It’s time to start pedaling! We will proceed to Strada Matrone, navigating the scenic Via Cifelli, and within a comfortable 15 minutes, we will arrive at the gates of the Vesuvius National Park. From this point, we will begin our ascent to the crater.

As we reach an elevation of 2,624 feet (800 meters) above sea level, we will secure our electric bikes and continue the exploration on foot via a nature trail. This easy-going hike allows you to take in the breathtaking landscapes as we move towards the volcano's crater. After approximately 40 minutes of hiking, we will arrive at the base of the crater.

We will take a moment to pause for about an hour, giving you the chance to closely admire one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders.

After completing our exploration of the summit, we will prepare for our descent. We will return to our bikes at the starting point and guide you back to the train station for your return trip to Naples.

Our adventure concludes after a total of 7 hours together, where we will say our farewells at the starting location.

For this activity, participants must be over 4 feet 7 inches (1.40 meters) tall and weigh no more than 286 pounds.
