If you find yourself in Naples and wish to discover its stunning surroundings, consider embarking on a day trip to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. This excursion will take you to two of the most essential destinations in the Campania region.

Day Trip Overview

At the scheduled time, we will meet you at the chosen pickup location in Naples, beginning our bus ride to the iconic sites of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.

Your adventure will commence as we navigate the picturesque roads of the Amalfi Coast. During our drive, you’ll witness charming houses perched on cliffs, kissed by the vibrant turquoise waters below. We will make a brief stop, allowing you to capture the beauty through your lens.

Subsequently, we'll halt at a prominent viewpoint in Positano, offering breathtaking vistas of this enchanting coastal town nestled on the Gulf of Salerno. After soaking in these awe-inspiring sights, we will continue to a local restaurant to indulge in some traditional dishes.

Next, our journey proceeds to Amalfi, recognized as a World Heritage Site and a highlight of the Amalfi Coast. Once there, you will have free time to wander its charming lanes and uncover its unique attractions.

Following this, we will visit a limoncello factory, where you'll have the chance to savor this delightful local liqueur.

Our next destination is the famed archaeological site of Pompeii. As we travel, keep an eye out for the majestic Mount Vesuvius, an impressive backdrop that will help paint a picture of the catastrophic events that once enveloped this ancient Roman city.

Upon arrival, we will bypass the entrance queues for a comprehensive guided exploration of the ruins. As we traverse the ancient streets, fascinating stories about life in Pompeii prior to its burial under ash and lava on August 24, 79 AD will unfold.

You’ll encounter key sites such as the forum, the lupanar, the House of the Vetti, and the thermal baths, all promising to enchant you!

At the end of our journey, we’ll make our way back to Naples after approximately 8 to 9 hours of exploration.

Pickup Information

The experience includes pickup from designated points at the specified times. During the booking, you can select from the following:

• Cruise Terminal/ Molo Beverello Port, adjacent to the bar Picnic: at 8 am
• Starhotels Terminus, located at Piazza Garibaldi, 91: at 8:30 am

Tour with Meal

You have the option to add a lunch inclusion at the time of booking, where you will enjoy a complete meal featuring a starter, a main course, and dessert.

Positano Viewing Stage

Please be aware that the stop in Positano is specifically a scenic viewpoint visit. Occasionally, due to operational considerations, we might substitute the stop in Positano with one in Agerola, allowing for stunning views and photo opportunities.

Tour Format

In the event that there are at least 6 participants sharing the same language, a live guide will be available. If this condition is not met, an audio guide will be provided instead.

Additional Information

This excursion is available in various languages, including English throughout the year, while Spanish tours are offered mainly during peak seasons.

Children under the age of 5 can join the experience at no cost; however, please note that lunch and a dedicated bus seat are not included for them.
