On this excursion, participants will explore the stunning landmarks along the southern coastline of Natal, making our way via the renowned Rota do Sol route. This drive boasts breathtaking views, features the world’s largest cashew tree, offers the serene environment of Arituba Lagoon, and invites relaxation in the natural tide pools at Camurupim Beach.

Trip Overview

At the arranged time, our team will collect you from your Natal accommodation and set off towards the southern coastline of Rio Grande do Norte.

During our journey along the Rota do Sol, guests will enjoy a sweeping vista of Barreira do Inferno, the first rocket launch site in South America, marking a significant milestone in Brazil's aerospace history.

Our initial stop will be at the famed Cajueiro de Pirangi, celebrated globally for housing the largest cashew tree in existence. Climbing to its observation point will reveal an expansive view of its massive canopy, which spans over 8,500 m² (91,500 sq ft). An impressive marvel of nature!

Next, we'll unwind at Arituba Lagoon, recognized for its sparkling freshwater. This stop allows for a revitalizing swim, with additional activities like paddle boat rentals, zip-lining, or stand-up paddleboarding available for an extra fee.

Following this, our adventure continues to Camurupim Beach, the crowning attraction of the trip. This idyllic destination features natural rock pools, soft sandy shores, and warm, gentle waters that are ideal for lounging beneath the sun or enjoying quality time with family. For those seeking excitement, quad biking through the nearby dunes, scrub areas, and lagoons can also be arranged at an additional cost.

Eventually, our journey will lead us back to Natal, with an estimated return time of around 8 hours.
