Hiking Overview
Our gathering point will be the Puerto de Navacerrada Ski Resort at 9 am. At this location, we will provide you with snowshoes and trekking poles, along with a tutorial on their proper use to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Once equipped, you will be set to explore the winter wonderland of the Sierra de Guadarrama.
With our gear ready, we will commence our 10-kilometer (6.2-mile) trek through the enchanting snowy terrain of the mountains. Our journey will lead us along the Schmid Trail, as we head towards the majestic Siete Picos (Seven Peaks). Along the way, we will pause briefly to rest and take in the stunning views—perfect for capturing memorable photographs!
Subsequently, we will retrace our steps back to the Puerto de Navacerrada Ski Resort. The return trip will also feature stretches of untouched snow, providing a delightful and smooth walking experience. We anticipate returning to our starting point by 2 pm.

Important information
We'll meet at 9 am at the rural tourism center in Puerto de Navacerrada. Please arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand.
Additional Info
To participate in this activity, you must bring mountain boots, and warm, waterproof clothes. We also recommend bringing waterproof gloves.
