At your chosen time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Nazca and embark on a journey along the Pan-American Highway towards the Maria Reiche Museum.
During an hour-long visit, you will delve into the comprehensive exhibition, gaining insights into the remarkable life of this pioneering researcher dedicated to the study of the Nazca Lines. Wander through the museum's various rooms and uncover some captivating discoveries that Reiche made in this enigmatic region.
The tour will proceed to the metal viewing platform of the Nazca Lines. Ascend the 65-foot tower to behold the closest of these monumental pre-Columbian geoglyphs, including iconic shapes like the tree and the hand.
Next, we will visit a nearby hill that offers a vantage point for observing additional Nazca geoglyphs. Theories abound regarding their creation—some suggest they were offerings to deities, while others believe they symbolize astronomical events. What are your thoughts?
We will conclude our excursion by returning to your hotel in Nazca two and a half hours after the initial pickup.
