Nazca Archaeological Exploration

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your selected hotel, after which we will travel to the Cantalloc aqueducts, located just 2.5 miles to the north of Nazca. Prepare to step back into history!

Upon arrival, we will explore the 40 underground tunnels that have served as a vital water source for the local community for generations. Here, we will delve into the impressive hydraulic engineering crafted from stone slabs and huarango logs.

Throughout the Nazca exploration, we will gain insights into the ceramics and gold crafting processes, which have played a significant role in the region's economy. We will also pause to examine the "puqios", unique ventilation shafts that spiral downwards into the earth, providing access to pristine water supplies.

Before concluding our tour, we will take a moment to admire the stunning geoglyphs of Cantalloc, showcasing yet another remarkable aspect of the ancient Nazca culture.

After approximately an hour at the site, we will head back to Nazca and drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of our experience.
