Embark on a captivating night tour of Neiva, where you will explore the city's notable landmarks from a cozy vehicle while also participating in a traditional dance class.

Tour Overview

Our adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel at the scheduled time, setting the stage for an exhilarating night tour of Neiva. This city, recognized as the capital of the Magdalena River, boasts a rich cultural heritage.

We will travel along Carrera 15, allowing you to marvel at the impressive sports complex, which features a stadium, a coliseum, and Olympic pools. Continuing down Carrera 21, we will arrive at Leesburg Park.

As we proceed to the heart of the city, the enchanting illuminated monuments will greet us, and we'll stroll through the vibrant nightlife hub. Our tour will further unveil the lush green spaces within Neiva, including Niños Park and Caracolí Park.

We will then make our way to the Malecón, where the majestic Magdalena River reigns. Here, we’ll ascend to the Tower Mohán lookout, offering breathtaking views that showcase the striking contrast of nature and urban life.

Our next stop is the Gaitana Monument, honoring an Indigenous woman celebrated as a heroine during the colonial period. After delving into her story, we will visit the original train station, where two dancers will greet us to demonstrate a traditional dance from Huila.

During this encounter, you'll learn the fundamental steps of the region's most iconic folk dances, including sanjuanero, bambuco, and rajaleña. After a brief theoretical introduction, it will be your turn to hit the dance floor!

Upon concluding our dance session, the activity will wrap up. You’ll have the option to either linger in the area or return to your hotel, reaching your accommodation approximately 5 hours after we started.
