While many attractions do not require prior planning, others may necessitate advance bookings due to demand, including the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty ferry, Top of the Rock, and the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. After your purchase, you will receive a link to make reservations as needed. The process is simple and often can be completed online without hassle.
Validity of the Pass
The New York Explorer Pass permits one-time entry to each attraction and is valid for 30 days from its activation. During your reservation, you will choose a start date, but you can utilize the pass for up to 24 months afterward.
The pass will be sent to your phone and will activate the first time it is used at an attraction.

Your pass is not activated by downloading it. To use your card, you'll need to show the QR code that appears on your mobile pass at the entrance of the attractions you wish to visit. Local bank holidays may affect the opening hours of the attractions included in the pass. Please keep in mind that you'll not be refunded (partially or totally) if the attractions are closed on local public holidays.
Card Validity
The Go City: New York Explorer Pass allows access to the viewpoint and the 2 attractions you choose once. Although during the booking process you'll be asked for a starting day, you can use the service for the following 1 year from the indicated date.
The pass is activated with your first visit. From this moment, it expires after 30 days.
