The SUMMIT Adventure
New York City beckons you to explore one of its premier viewing spots! Situated close to the renowned Grand Central Terminal, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt provides breathtaking panoramas of the New York skyline from its prime location in Midtown.
Soaring to a height of 1,400 ft (427 m), One Vanderbilt is even taller than the Empire State Building. The structure boasts a remarkable 93 floors, with the SUMMIT experience spanning the top three levels.

Operational Hours of SUMMIT
SUMMIT One Vanderbilt welcomes visitors every day from 9 am to 12 am, with the last admission at 10:29 pm.
Skip-the-Line SUMMIT Premium Tour
For those wishing to explore like a VIP, consider a 90-minute guided tour where you will bypass the lines and uncover Manhattan's finest viewpoints. Your guide will reveal intriguing details regarding the avant-garde design of the building and the impressive art by Kenzo Digital. This exclusive tour also comes with a digital photo pack as a keepsake.
Meet your guide in front of the MTA stairs, to the left of the entrance. Arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a timely start to your tour.
Signature Experience
Elevate your visit with the Signature Experience. Choose this option to indulge in a cocktail at the SUMMIT bar, selecting from either an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage in one of the city's premier bars.
Ticket + SUMMIT Ascent Elevator
Looking for an extra thrill? With the SUMMIT Ascent option, not only will you enjoy the observation deck, but you will also embark on a ride in a glass elevator on the skyscraper's exterior!
This exhilarating ride takes you 12 floors up the side of One Vanderbilt in a transparent cabin, reaching a height of 364 meters (1,194 feet) and becoming the highest observation point in Midtown Manhattan. The unobstructed, floor-to-ceiling views as you ascend will provide an unforgettable perspective of the New York City skyline. Don't forget your camera!

Important information
On the day of the activity, please go to the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt observation deck entrance (45 East 42nd Street, New York). The entrance to the monument is located in the main lobby of Grand Central Terminal.
If you have selected the guided tour, the meeting point will be in front of the stairs of the MTA, on the left of the entrance. Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes beforehand. If you arrive late, you must register at the ticket booth, as it's possible you may not join the next tour.
Important Info
- Please be as punctual as possible, as all tickets have a fixed time. If you arrive late, your tickets will be accommodated based on availability and will be subject to an extra rescheduling fee. You may not be able to enter if you arrive more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket.
- Please note that the times are subject to change. Visit summitov.com to see the most updated information.
- We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as access to the observation deck is not permitted with stiletto heels, steel-toed shoes or other footwear that may damage the mirrored floor of SUMMIT One Vanderbilt.
- Also, due to the mirrored floor, it's not advisable to wear dresses or skirts, preferably pants or leggings. Also, during the day, don't forget to wear sunglasses.
- If the Ascent elevator is not in operation on the date and time of your visit due to technical or weather-related reasons, you'll still be able to enjoy all 3 levels of the SUMMIT and will receive a partial refund corresponding to this specific experience.
What Happens on Days of Low Visibility?
If there is insufficient visibility at the time of your arrival, we'll offer you the option of rescheduling your visit for another day free of charge, provided that this is possible and that you have availability for another day.
If you are unable to reschedule the visit for another day, you'll have to come up to the SUMMIT, as no refund will be provided.
If there is insufficient visibility, SUMMIT staff will inform you of this before scanning your entry tickets. If, after being informed of the low visibility, you decide to go up to the SUMMIT, you will not be able to reschedule your visit for another day, and you will not be entitled to a refund.
Rain and clouds do not necessarily mean no visibility.
