Reaching 850 feet (260 meters) in elevation, the observatory boasts three terraces oriented in all four cardinal directions, showcasing unparalleled panoramic views of the New York skyline. You'll quite literally have the vibrant city sprawling beneath you!

In merely 45 seconds, you will ascend to the 67th floor, where a knowledgeable guide will accompany you on a 75-minute tour covering the three levels of the Top of the Rock Observation Deck. During this tour, you will delve into the fascinating history of Rockefeller Center while absorbing some of the most breathtaking views of New York.

Exclusive Access to The Beam
Perched on the 69th floor, The Beam features an interactive experience where you can sit on a steel beam rotating 180°, mimicking the famous 1932 image Lunch Atop a Skyscraper. With the VIP pass, you can visit The Beam and capture a memorable photo reenacting this iconic moment.
Operating Hours
Top of The Rock:
- Open daily from 8 am to 11 pm. The last elevator goes up at 10:10 pm.
The Beam: operates daily from 8 am to 12 am, with final entry at 11:10 pm.

The Beam Hours
The beam is open daily from 8 am to midnight, and the last entry is at 11:10 pm. Hours may vary, so please check the official The Beam website.
Top of the Rock Hours
- Until February 28, 2026, Top of the Rock opens daily from 9 am to 10 pm. The last elevator goes up at 9:10 pm.
- From March 1, 2026, Top of the Rock opens daily from 8 am to 11 pm. The last elevator goes up at 10:10 pm.
The Beam Guidelines
- Weather closures: If The Beam closes due to extreme weather, a voucher will be issued for a future visit.
- Height & weight restrictions: Guests under 132 cm must be accompanied by an adult if under 132 cm but at least 107 cm tall. Maximum weight 136 kg. All visitors must have a ticket.
- Dress code: Closed-toe shoes or sandals that fully cover the heel. Hats, glasses, and scarves must be secure.
- Prohibited items: No phones, tablets, laptops, cameras, selfie sticks, GoPros, loose bags, keys, wallets, drinks, bottles, carriers, or other loose items. Medical devices like oxygen tanks, canes, and walkers are also not allowed. All personal items must be stored in lockers next to The Beam.
