When you make a reservation, you have the option to select either a 2.5-hour or a 3.5-hour tour. Both experiences are conducted as walking tours led by guides fluent in English and French. Below are the specific details for each duration:

2.5-Hour Tour

Our meeting point is at the Fontaine du Soleil, located at the main square, Place Masséna. From here, we will meander over to the Cours Saleya, renowned for its vibrant open-air market. You'll have the opportunity to explore the various stalls and observe the fresh local produce.

Next, we will venture into the old town of Nice, where we will visit a series of artisanal shops and food vendors, with selections changing throughout the seasons. During our time together, you’ll sample 8 traditional specialties, including 5 artisan cheeses and 3 local treats, all paired with a glass of wine.

While the seasonal variations offer surprises, you can expect classic delights such as bread, macarons, socca, pissaladière, and salami to feature prominently on our tasting menu. Our exploration will uncover the stories behind these Mediterranean dishes and their ties to Italian and Alpine gastronomy.

This 2.5-hour experience concludes in the stunning Place Garibaldi, acclaimed as one of Nice's most picturesque squares.

3.5-Hour Tour

For this extended itinerary, we commence our adventure at Nice Port, specifically at the Église Notre-Dame du Port.

Our first tasting will take place at a venue by the port, where you'll indulge in 3 artisan cheeses, each weighing 35 grams, paired with fresh bread and 2 glasses of wine. Afterward, we will proceed through the charming streets of the old town, stopping at notable landmarks, including Place Garibaldi.

Our journey will lead us to the heart of the historic district, where you will savor 2 local specialties, complemented by charcuterie and a glass of wine to enhance the experience.

The 3.5-hour food tour will conclude in the vicinity of the renowned Opéra or the vibrant Place Masséna.
