Black River & YS Falls Day Trip
Description
Journey through a lush tropical environment and discover the breathtaking scenery of Jamaica with this excursion to the Black River and YS Falls.
Day Trip to Black River & YS Falls
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation or the Ocho Rios cruise terminal at the scheduled time, as we head toward the Black River.
Enjoy a comfortable ride along the north coast of Jamaica, taking in stunning views of its coastal beaches and vibrant forests. The drive, spanning approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, provides ample opportunity to appreciate the remarkable landscapes along the Jamaican shoreline.
Upon arrival, we will embark on a boat for a journey along the Black River, which stretches 53 kilometers and ranks among the most significant rivers in Jamaica. The diverse flora and fauna lining its banks create a stunning tropical haven. Keep your eyes peeled for the elusive Jamaican crocodile—will you spot one?
After the boat ride, a delicious Jamaican lunch awaits you. Following our meal, we will proceed to the breathtaking YS Falls, an idyllic retreat featuring a series of seven cascading waterfalls that flow into a pristine lagoon perfect for a refreshing swim. You are welcome to take a leisurely stroll along the river path or simply relax in the sun on the riverbanks.
At the conclusion of the day, we will return you to your hotel in Ocho Rios, approximately 13 hours after departure.
