Ticket Options
As you make your reservation, you have the option to select the train service to Machu Picchu from Ollantaytambo, which typically spans around 1.5 hours. Both train services provide a cafeteria where you can savor refreshments at your leisure.

Expedition Train
Onboard the Expedition Train, you will reach Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu, while traveling along one of the world's most scenic railway paths.
The ride offers breathtaking views of the Andean landscape, sure to mesmerize you. Enjoy the expansive windows of the train, perfect for admiring the stunning surroundings throughout the trip.
Vistadome Train
Opting for the Vistadome Train adds a unique twist to your travel to Machu Picchu. The carriages feature large windows in both walls and ceilings, immersing you in the beauty of nature outside.
Additionally, you'll be invited to participate in a cultural showcase with traditional music and dance, highlighting the rich Peruvian heritage that enhances this journey beyond a simple train ride.
Mid-Way Stop
The 7:04 pm train will pause mid-journey at the Avenida Imperio de los Inkas station, situated in the Machu Picchu area. It is important to know that this is not the primary station for disembarking.
Limited Availability
Train services to Machu Picchu are subject to limited availability, so it is advisable to reserve your tickets as early as possible. In case your chosen option is unavailable, we can provide equivalent service tickets: Voyager for Expedition and 360 for Vistadome, maintaining the same route and closely matching schedules.
After your reservation, we will email your official tickets 48 hours prior to departure, enabling you to embark on the train.
Seats
Keep in mind that seat assignments are randomized. You may inquire about modifications directly with the onboard crew, but this will depend on available options.

Please be aware that the schedule selected during your reservation is approximate, and your train ride could occur at any available time on the selected date.

Accessibility
Only some areas are accessible. Accessible toilets. An accompanying person is required. This must be indicated in the reservation.
Important information
After booking, 48 hours before the train departs, we'll send you your official tickets that will allow you to board the trains.
On the day of the activity, you'll need to show your train tickets at the PeruRail or IncaRail ticket offices, depending on the assigned train. Both ticket offices are at the Ollantaytambo Train Station (Ticket Office: Av. Ferrocarril s/n, Ollantaytambo, Valle Sagrado, Cusco, Peru). You can see the exact location at the following link.
