Activity Details

At the designated time, we'll meet you at your hotel or the cruise terminal in Oranjestad. After a brief orientation, we’ll set off on a 20-minute drive towards Savaneta. Upon arrival at the dock, it will be time to select our kayaks and prepare for our paddling journey.

As we glide across the serene turquoise waters along Aruba’s coastline, we’ll kayak for approximately 15 minutes. When we reach Sea Glass Island, you will be captivated by its distinct allure. Historically, this petite island served as a dumping ground for local waste, transforming over the years into a treasure trove of smooth, glimmering pieces of glass, ceramics, and marble shaped by the relentless waves.

We will navigate around Sea Glass Island, taking time to marvel at the radiant sunlight dancing off these vibrant fragments. You’ll have the opportunity to collect your favorite pieces as mementos of this extraordinary outing, since sea glass is not classified as a natural resource in Aruba.

After approximately two hours of kayaking exploration, we’ll return to the dock to return our gear. Once we are ready, we will make our way back to your hotel or cruise port, concluding our experience after a delightful 3.5 hours.

Tour Requirements

• The maximum weight limit for an individual kayak is 159 kilograms (350lbs).
• For tandem kayaks, the total maximum weight allowed is 250 kilograms (551lbs).
• Participants should be in good physical health to partake in this activity.
