Join us in uncovering the charm of the villages surrounding Oropesa del Mar! We'll gather at 9 am in front of the local Tourist Office situated in Plaza París. Once everyone is assembled, we'll embark on a one-hour bus ride to Traiguera.

Upon arrival, immerse yourself in a landscape of millennia-old olive groves. Here, you’ll discover the art of cultivating these majestic trees, some of which are believed to be over a thousand years old, with the oldest dating back to 971! During this visit, you'll also gain insight into the production of Traiguera's renowned olive oil and enjoy a tasting experience featuring this exquisite product alongside a selection of cured meats.

Next, we will journey to the captivating town of Cervera del Maestre. As we wander through its quaint cobblestone streets, we'll visit the Oil Mill Visitor Centre and explore several iconic attractions, including the historic fish market, the Church of the Assumption, and the Cervera del Maestre Castle. This medieval fortress will transport us back to the time of Spain's Reconquista, highlighting its strategic significance.

After the informative tour, we will return to Traiguera to experience the Royal Sanctuary of the Virgen María de la Font de la Salud. Here, we’ll delve into its captivating history and its connections to the reign of Charles V as we explore the guest accommodations, the residence for priests, the kitchen, and the hermitage.

As our enriching journey concludes, we’ll bid farewell and be back to our starting point by 2:30 pm.
