What Is Included?

The Kansai Area Pass travel card grants you unlimited access to Osaka's comprehensive network of trains and buses. Additionally, it provides access to the express train linking Kansai Airport to downtown Osaka.

This travel card also enables you to venture to nearby cities in Japan such as Kyoto, Kobe, Himeji, and Nara, all reachable within an hour and a half by train. Explore the key stops and stations on Osaka's public transport network through the following links:

How It Works?

The Kansai Area Pass enables unlimited use of Osaka's train and bus services (excluding expressway buses) for a duration of 1, 2, 3, or 4 consecutive days. To activate your travel card, simply present the voucher you receive along with your passport at the ticket counters located at Kansai airport.

Key Information

• For each adult holder of a Kansai Area Pass, one child under the age of 5 can ride free of charge.
• The card is not valid for the Shinkansen or Limited Express services, nor for the Tokaido Shinkansen bullet trains that run between Osaka and Kyoto.
• It is necessary to carry your passport on all train journeys throughout Osaka.
