Kobe Day Trip

Embark on a day trip from Osaka to Kobe, a vibrant metropolis that showcases the influence of the West in Japan. This journey will take us through the city's prime neighborhoods and historic sites, offering an enriching experience that you won’t want to miss.

Trip Overview

We will convene at Exit 2 of the Kintetsu Nippombashi Station at the appointed hour to set off on our exploration of Kobe. Are you ready to uncover the hidden treasures of this remarkable city? Let’s begin!

Upon arrival, our first stop will be Maiko Park, a serene coastal area that provides breathtaking views of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, renowned as the world’s longest suspension bridge. Here, you can wander along the Maiko Marine Promenade, a unique walkway fitted with a glass floor, offering exceptional vistas of the Seto Inland Sea.

Next, we will venture to the bustling Port of Kobe, the vibrant shopping hub nestled by the bay. While exploring this lively district, you'll be treated to views of the iconic Kobe Port Tower and can relax by the seaside.

Following this, we’ll visit Nankinmachi, the dynamic Chinatown of Kobe. Bursting with life and culture, this area offers you approximately one hour of free time to savor delightful Chinese cuisine from the many food stalls that line the streets.

Our next destination is Sorakuen Garden, a traditional Japanese garden situated in the heart of the city. Known for its exquisite design and historical elements, this serene garden features tranquil ponds, stone bridges, and vibrant greenery.

We will conclude our trip in the charming Kitano Ijinkan-gai district, which sits on the slopes of Mount Rokk?. This area is celebrated for its well-preserved Western-style homes, constructed during the Meiji and Taish? eras.

After a fulfilling day of exploration, we will return to our starting point, bidding farewell after approximately 9.5 hours of discovery.
