This tour of Osaka offers a comfortable and efficient way to discover the city's most prominent landmarks. You'll embark on an open-top bus and gain insights into its historical significance through an English audio guide.

Tour Options

During the booking process, you can select from a variety of options. All tours commence at the Osaka Station JR Expressway Bus Terminal and feature a 1-hour exploration of the city on a double-decker bus equipped with an English audio guide that unveils the intriguing aspects of Osaka.

Below are the particulars for each route option.

Umeda Route

Our journey begins at the iconic Umeda Sky Building, a striking structure that reaches a height of 173 meters (567 feet), known for its futuristic architecture. Next, we will visit the Tsuyunoten Shrine, a site steeped in history and spirituality.

Continuing on, we’ll pass by the Japan Mint, notable for its historical legacy, before arriving at the impressive Osaka Castle, a vital monument established in the 16th century.

Along our route, we will also view the Osaka Museum of History and the historic Hachikenya River Station, one of the oldest wharves in Osaka, situated along the Okawa River. Additionally, we will admire the Osaka City Hall and the Bank of Japan headquarters, both integral to the city's financial landscape. Lastly, our tour will encompass the modern Nakanoshima Festival Tower, a structure accommodating various shops, offices, and cultural spaces.

Following our hour-long tour of key attractions, we will return to the bus terminal to conclude the experience.

Namba Route

If you prefer this itinerary, we will first visit the Osaka City Hall and the Bank of Japan from the terminal. We will then proceed along the illustrious Midosuji Avenue, known as the main artery of Osaka, showcasing upscale boutiques, dining venues, and skyscrapers. Our next stop will be Dotonbori, renowned for its vibrant neon signage and dynamic nightlife.

We will continue to Nipponbashi Denden Town, the central hub for electronics and a haven for manga and anime enthusiasts. As we advance, keep an eye out for the distinctive Tsutenkaku Tower, designed after the Eiffel Tower and positioned in the lively Shinsekai area.

Next, we will visit Abeno Harukas, the tallest skyscraper in Japan at 300 meters (984 feet), providing a stunning overlook of the cityscape. Our journey will also take us past Shitennoji Temple, which dates back to 593, and through the Tanimachi neighborhood, celebrated for its array of temples and shrines, before spotting the Nakanoshima Festival Tower once more.

Our last stops will bring us back to the Umeda Sky Building and Grand Front Osaka, a premier shopping and entertainment destination in the city.

After one hour of sightseeing, we will return to the bus terminal to conclude the tour.

Festival of the Lights

Choosing this option allows you to experience the stunning winter illuminations of Osaka aboard the scenic Osaka Sky Vista, an open-top two-story bus.

We will set off from the JR Express bus terminal and pass by Osaka City Hall. The journey will continue towards the Bank of Japan and along Midosuji Avenue.

You will also have the opportunity to admire the lit facades of Abeno Harukas, the Umeda Sky Building, and Grand Front Osaka before concluding our excursion back at the starting point.
