Options for Your Visit

Upon booking, you can select between two distinct experiences. Both options are hosted at the Ochiizumibeya restaurant, situated in Rinkuoraiminami. Further details for each alternative are outlined below.

Show Only (40 Minutes)

Upon arrival at the venue, you will be given a seat right in front of the sumo ring. The host will greet you and provide introductions to the various wrestlers set to compete. For 40 minutes, you will witness an exhilarating array of matches as they strive for victory.

Show + Meal (1.5 hours)

This option complements your sumo experience beautifully. While enjoying the match, you will have the opportunity to savor a traditional meal enjoyed by sumo wrestlers: Chankonabe. This substantial stew is prepared with a delightful combination of white and red meats, a variety of vegetables, seaweed, eggs, and either rice or noodles.

Concluding the show and meal, you can explore the kimono section, where you can try on beautiful, authentic traditional garments.
