Otavalo Cycling Adventure
We'll gather at Hostal Riviera Sucre at the scheduled time to embark on this thrilling biking journey around Otavalo.
After a brief 20-minute drive, we will arrive at the El Lechero viewpoint. Get ready to take in some spectacular vistas! Here, we will enjoy panoramic views of Lake San Pablo along with the majestic Cayambe, Imbabura, Cotacachi, and Fuyafuya Volcanoes.
Now the true adventure begins! We’ll gear up for an unforgettable mountain biking experience. As we glide down the hills, we'll ride through quaint towns and witness the vibrant local culture. Our first destination will be Peguche, home to a stunning waterfall reaching 30 meters (100 feet) in height.
As we continue our cycling journey, we'll stop by a local art workshop where you can delve into the intricacies of textiles and embroidery, a time-honored craft in the area. Next, we’ll proceed to Chamán Town, offering a unique chance for spiritual cleansing if you wish!
We will then cycle back to Otavalo, concluding our tour at Hostal Riviera Sucre, after an exhilarating 3.5 hours of exploration.
