As you disembark from the minibus, you will find yourself transported to the 18th century, when São João del-Rei stood as a major city within Minas Gerais. To delve into its captivating history, we will explore the Tancredo Neves Memorial, which contains an array of items commemorating the former Brazilian president. Appreciate the baroque and rococo architectural prowess as you visit the São Francisco de Assis church, a true masterpiece.

Before we leave São João del-Rei, we will also explore the intriguing Solar dos Neves, a Cultural Heritage site crafted in the 19th century. Following this, you'll board the famed Maria Fumaça train—a historic steam locomotive—and set off on a picturesque ride to Tiradentes.
