Our adventure begins with a pickup at your accommodation in Palinuro, followed by a scenic bus ride to Padula, a charming town in the Salerno province, where the remarkable Charterhouse of San Lorenzo is located, widely referred to as the Certosa di Padula. Upon our arrival at the monastery, a designated World Heritage Site since 1998, we will first admire its stunning Baroque exterior. Inside, our knowledgeable guide will illuminate the Carthusian principles that shaped this architectural marvel and influenced its design.
