Day 1

On the scheduled day, we will meet you at your hotel or at Palmas airport. Depending on your arrival time, you have the option to stay overnight at a hotel in Palmas or travel directly to Caseara, where we will rest before our journey to the Araguaia River. Prepare yourself for an extraordinary adventure!

Day 2

Following a nourishing breakfast, we will embark on a delightful boat ride from Caseara to our base camp located along the Araguaia River. Here, we will remain for the next four days, engaging in an exhilarating fishing escapade on one of Brazil's most renowned rivers, home to over 250 exotic fish species.

Before we cast our lines, a short briefing will cover the safe handling of fishing equipment. Once ready, we will venture onto the river to begin fishing! Take the time to unwind, exercise patience, and soak in the breathtaking surroundings. At lunchtime, a scrumptious meal will be served right on the riverbank.

As night falls, we will return to the base camp for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Days 3, 4, and 5

Each morning, following breakfast, we will gather our fishing gear and continue our thrilling adventure on the Araguaia. For three days, we will enjoy lunch along the river while tending to our fishing rods. Don’t fret if the fish are elusive at first; we will navigate the river by boat in search of the finest catches.

This vibrant area boasts a rich variety of famous species including Pirarara, Piraíba, and Tucunaré. The unique and stunning environment offers ample opportunities for incredible photographs!

After a long day, we will return to our tents for a hearty dinner and restorative sleep until the next day.

Day 6

Following breakfast at the camp, we’ll take advantage of the last few hours of fishing before heading back to Caseara in the afternoon by boat. There, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7

On the final day, after breakfast, we will transport you to Palmas airport, ensuring ample time for your departure flight.

Accommodation

Your tour includes six nights of full board accommodation:

• Caseara or Palmas: Depending on your arrival time, the first night will be spent either at Pousada Cantinho do Sul in Caseara or at Hotel 10 Palmas. The last night is also at Pousada Cantinho do Sul de Caseara.
• Araguaia River: Overnight stays will be in tents.

Timings

The schedule for the first day will vary based on your flight arrival time at Palmas airport:

• If you arrive before 7 pm, a welcome lunch will be provided before transferring you to Pousada Sonho Meu in Caseara.
• If you arrive after 8 pm, dinner will be served upon arrival, and you will spend the night in Palmas. A transfer to Pousada Sonho Meu in Caseara will be organized for 5 am the following day.

This tour is conducted in Portuguese. Should you prefer an English-speaking guide, an additional fee of 65EUR for every two participants will apply.
