Ballestas Islands Excursion
At the scheduled time, we will collect you from Paracas and transport you to the local harbor, where a speedboat awaits to embark on an adventure to unveil the breathtaking coastal vistas of the region.
As we navigate along the coastline of the Paracas Peninsula, you will encounter the intriguing Paracas Candelabra, an ancient geoglyph etched into the hills. Can we uncover the mystery behind this iconic shape?
The journey continues as we approach the Ballestas Islands. Here, you will have the opportunity to observe the diverse wildlife, including Humboldt penguins, sea lions, and a variety of sea birds that inhabit the island's cliffs.
Throughout the trip, we will share captivating insights about the diverse habitats and species that thrive in this remarkable ecosystem, such as the reasons guano birds choose this archipelago for nesting and raising their young.
Your boat tour will conclude at the port in Paracas by 10 am, followed by a return trip to your hotel, arriving around 10:30 am.
Pickup Information
This tour includes a convenient pickup service from various accommodations in Paracas: Libertador Luxury, Hotel la Hacienda, Hotel San Agustin, Aranwa Paracas, Hotel Hilton, Gran Palma, Emancipador, Paracas Sunset, Mar Azul, and Gamonal; as well as from the Bus Station.

Please note that the activity is dependent on weather conditions. Notifications may be provided on the day of the tour. Should the visit to the Ballestas Islands be unfeasible, an alternative trip to the Blancas Islands will be arranged instead.

Important information
The guide will pick you up from your hotel in Paracas, as specified when making your booking, between 8:30 and 8:50 am. Please be ready a few minutes early.
However, the local provider will contact you the day before the activity to offer more details on the pickup time and place.
We recommend bringing a windbreaker, sun cream and light, comfortable clothes and shoes.
Important Information
The activity is subject to weather conditions. The provider can notify you even on the day of the activity. In the event that the Ballestas Islands part of the activity can't be done on the same day, the provider will offer you the chance the visit the Blancas Islands instead. If you choose not to go to these islands, no refund of any kind, full or partial, will be offered.
Entrance fees and taxes not included
On the day of the activity, you willl need Peruvian soles in cash to pay the entrance fees which are not included. Credit or debit cards are not accepted.
