Day Trip Overview

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Parnaíba, followed by a scenic drive to the breathtaking coastline of Piauí, noted for its natural allure and varied ecosystems.

Our first stop is Atalaia Beach, featuring a lengthy stretch of golden sand that invites you to enjoy the gentle ocean breeze and expansive views. Next, we will progress to Coqueiro Beach, which boasts a vibrant tropical landscape adorned with countless palm trees.

Continuing our exploration, we will marvel at the distinct Árvore Penteada, a uniquely sculptured tree shaped by the persistent coastal winds, serving as a popular site for photographs.

Next, we’ll proceed to Macapá Beach, a favorite among kitesurfers worldwide due to its consistent winds. If your visit occurs between July and October, you might witness a colorful display of kites adorning the sky. Lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant situated on Coqueiro or Macapá Beach, giving you about an hour to savor your meal at leisure.

Our journey will lead us to Barra Grande, a tranquil village where the pace of life is slow and the water is typically serene. The crystal-clear waters provide an ideal setting for swimming, preserving the area’s pristine marine ecosystem.

To conclude our trip, we will visit the magnificent Cajueiro Rei, a colossal cashew tree that resembles a living labyrinth. It ranks among the largest cashew trees in Brazil, making for an excellent photo opportunity.

After around 6 hours of exploration, we will bring you back to Parnaíba and drop you off at your hotel.
