Pasto Tour
Description
Pasto, known for its rich heritage, is often referred to as the 'Surprise City' or the 'Theological City', and this tour promises to unveil all its captivating attractions.
Pasto Tour
Our journey begins at 2 pm in the central Plaza de Nariño, the heart of Pasto, where you will embark on an exploration of the city's most notable sites. Are you curious about the origin of its playful nickname? Join us and uncover the story behind it!
Starting from the Plaza de Nariño, we will delve into the historical essence of Pasto before embarking on a visit to its numerous churches. With over 25 places of worship, this vibrant city has rightfully earned its reputation as Colombia's 'Theological City'.
We will take in the stunning exteriors of the cathedral of Corazón de Jesús, the church of San Juan, as well as the lovely churches of Cristo Rey and La Merced. Following that, we’ll immerse ourselves in the local culture at the Carnival Museum, showcasing highlights of this traditional festival alongside varnishing workshops, which highlight the city's unique craft techniques.
The latter part of our tour focuses on exploring Pasto's culinary delights. You will witness the preparation of traditional paila ice cream and indulge in a tasting experience of Colombian coffee, guided by an expert barista who will share insights on the art of brewing.
Our enriching tour will conclude at 6 pm, returning to our starting point to reflect on a day filled with discovery.
