For those seeking a more extensive experience, alongside your visit to the Interpretation Center of the Romanesque Sculpture in Penafiel, you can partake in a guided excursion to the Lousada Interpretation Center of the Romanesque, located only 10 kilometers from Penafiel.

The guided portion lasts an hour, and you will explore its six exhibition areas: Territory and Formation of Portugal, Medieval Society, The Romanesque, The Builders, Symbolism and Color, and The Monuments. This engaging visit is complemented by various interactive elements available throughout the center.

Opening Hours

The Interpretation Center of the Romanesque Sculpture in Penafiel hosts guided tours during the following hours:

• Thursday and Friday: from 10 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 6 PM.
• Saturdays and Sundays: from 10 AM to 1 PM.

The Lousada Interpretation Center of the Romanesque provides guided tours from Tuesday to Sunday every hour from 10 AM to 5 PM.
