Reasons to Explore the Museum of the American Revolution
Since its inauguration in April 2017, the Museum of the American Revolution aims to narrate the formation journey of the United States. Philadelphia is renowned as the nation's cradle, being the site where the Declaration of Independence was ratified in 1776, followed by the Constitution in 1787.
Your ticket grants you access to an impressive collection of over 500 artifacts from this monumental chapter of history. This exhibition allows visitors to gain a thorough understanding of the events that unfolded during the war against Great Britain. Among the displays are clothing, weaponry, photographs, and even detailed ship models, all of which aid in vividly recreating the past.
Visitors will also encounter a replica of the Annapolis Liberty Tree and the actual tent used by George Washington, the United States' inaugural President. Numerous informational videos scattered throughout the museum enhance the experience, immersing you in the Colonial era!
