Details of the Activity

On the day of your adventure, we will gather at Pasaje Aurora de Chile in Pisco Elqui. Here, you'll have the chance to select the cycling gear that fits your needs.

After a brief transfer of just 30 minutes from Pisco Elqui to Alcohuaz, your cycling journey will commence in this charming Elqui Valley village, perched over 7,000 ft (1,740 m) above sea level. Are you ready to start pedaling?

Upon arrival, we will provide you with a map, allowing you to navigate the route independently. You will cycle along a 9.3-mile (15.10 km) rural pathway of moderate difficulty, taking in the spectacular views of the Elqui River Valley. These scenic vistas are sure to become cherished memories!

Feel free to pause at any time to explore notable sites such as the pisco distilleries, Los Nichos & Doña Josefa, as well as the central squares of Alcohuaz and Horcón, both of which boast unique charm. You'll find picnic areas and restrooms available, along with the chance to visit the Estero Derecho River.

The entire route is expected to take around 5 hours. Please be aware that you will need to arrange your own transportation back to the meeting point in Pisco Elqui after completing the ride.
