Tour Overview

We'll commence our guided adventure in Pitalito at the arranged time with a pickup from your hotel, setting the stage in one of Colombia's leading coffee-producing villages.

Your journey will begin at the Parque de la Presentación La Valvanera, a scenic park where you’ll have the chance to admire monuments dedicated to the locals, known as Laboyanos, thanks to their residence in the Laboyos Valley.

Following this, we will proceed to the Town Hall, located within the Municipal Administrative Centre La Chapolera, highlighting the elegant colonial architecture shared by the Regional Laboyano Museum and the Municipal Library.

Continuing our exploration, we'll visit the Lorenzo Cuéllar Molina School of Arts and Crafts, which aims to enhance arts and crafts knowledge among individuals from underprivileged communities.

As we venture into the heart of the village, a stop at Principal José Hilario López Park awaits. This lively square, adorned with palm trees, encircles the renowned San Antonio Church, a significant architectural highlight of the area.

During our tour, you will also encounter vibrant artworks from numerous visual artists, contributing to the largest open-air museum in Laboyano located in Huila. Furthermore, as Pitalito is celebrated for its exquisite coffee, we will explore some of the prominent local coffee shops.

Our journey will culminate at the Héctor Polanía Sánchez Cultural Centre, a vibrant venue for local and regional cultural events. After a comprehensive exploration lasting about 4 hours, we will return to our starting point.
