Villa Savoye Tickets
Description
Villa Savoye stands as one of the iconic masterpieces of the esteemed architect Le Corbusier. Experience its extraordinary avant-garde architecture by purchasing this entry ticket.
Villa Savoye Entrance Ticket
Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, more widely known as Le Corbusier, was a leading figure in the field of architecture during the early 20th century. His innovative design for a residence in Poissy, constructed in 1929 and located about an hour from Paris, marked a pivotal moment in design history: Villa Savoye.
The avant-garde structure of Villa Savoye serves as a key reference for International Rationalist Architecture, emerging in the early 20th century. This architectural movement, often referred to as the Modern Movement, emphasizes features like reinforced concrete, expansive windows, and rooftop gardens—all of which can be found in Le Corbusier's villa in Poissy.
This ticket grants you access not only to the interior of a modern architectural landmark but also includes a multilingual brochure for a self-guided exploration of the diverse spaces within the house.
In addition, ticket holders can wander through the gardens of Villa Savoye, where harmonious nature, sleek design, and avant-garde elements beautifully merge with the surrounding landscape.
