Activity Overview

At the scheduled time, your hotel pick-up will commence, leading you into the heart of São Miguel's hidden gems. As we journey onward, watch the urban landscape transform into expansive meadows dotted with distinctive volcanic rock formations.

Our adventure begins as the pavement ends at Porto Formoso. Here, we'll embark on a scenic trail that stretches from 3 to 4 kilometers (2 to 2.5 miles), meandering through verdant forests rich with earthy aromas. Along the hiking path, marvel at the impressively sculpted hills and volcanic structures formed over eons. Expect intermittent stops to capture the stunning vistas.

Suddenly, a hidden waterfall captivates our senses, its waters cascading gracefully like a shimmering curtain. Continuing towards the coastline, the vast Atlantic reveals itself in a profound blue hue. Equipped with our snorkeling gear, we will immerse ourselves in the pristine waters, unveiling a vibrant reef thriving just below the surface.

During our more than 40 minutes of exploration underwater, witness fish darting like shards of light, intricate rock formations bustling with marine life, and experience an engulfing tranquility. We will eventually return to the shore, salty and revitalized, before retracing our steps back.

After a total of 4 hours packed with adventure, we will escort you back to your hotel, concluding an unforgettable experience.
