Puracé Waterfalls Hiking Tour

Embark on an exciting adventure to explore the breathtaking natural landscapes of Puracé through a hiking experience that leads to its stunning waterfalls. This is an ideal outing for those who seek a bit of thrill!

Activity Details

At the designated time, we will collect you from your accommodation and begin our journey to Pululó, an indigenous region located within the boundaries of Puracé, which is less than an hour away from Popayán.

Upon our arrival, we’ll savor a traditional breakfast, lovingly prepared by a local family, providing an opportunity to recharge and immerse ourselves in the area's rich culture.

With renewed vigor, we’ll set off for our 10-kilometer hike along the Pululó path, leading us through mesmerizing waterfalls and stunning vistas nestled in the heart of Colombia.

The first highlight will be the Andulbior Waterfall, notable for its impressive 15-meter (49 ft) height. Continuing further, we’ll arrive at Isiago, a magnificent nearly 60-meter (197 ft) waterfall, enveloped by lush flora.

Along the journey, we’ll take a break to enjoy a home-cooked lunch, also provided by the community. Following our meal, the trek will lead us to our final destination: Vinagre Waterfall, known for its thermal waters at a warm 18°C (64°F). Here, you’ll have an hour to unwind and indulge in the soothing natural pools.

To complete the experience, we will return to Popayán, concluding our day after approximately 10 hours of exploration.
