Excursion to Opatija, Moš?enice & Trsat

Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Pore? at 9 am, as we set off to explore three of the most scenic towns in Kvarner Bay.

After approximately an hour and a half of traveling, we'll arrive at Opatija, positioned on the eastern shoreline of the Istrian peninsula. During our walk through this picturesque town, you’ll discover its rich history and notable landmarks. Often referred to as the pearl of the Adriatic, Opatija is a gem on the coast.

Known affectionately as the Old Dame, this destination was a favored retreat for the 19th-century bourgeoisie. As we explore, we’ll encounter architectural remnants from that historic period, including elegant buildings, villas, and hotels.

We will then proceed to Moš?enice. A quick 20-minute drive will take us to this quaint fishing village, renowned for its stunning vistas of Kvarner Bay. Here, we’ll wander its charming streets and revel in the unique local craftsmanship evident in its many corners.

Finally, we will visit Trsat, home to the renowned Trsat Castle, a striking 13th-century fortress. Together with our knowledgeable guide, we will delve into the history of this impressive site and its significance to pilgrimage traditions.

The excursion will conclude with your return to the hotel in Pore? around 2 pm.
