Our adventure begins at 8 am with a pick-up from your accommodation along the Arcadins Coast or in Port-au-Prince. We will then commence a picturesque 2-hour drive towards the Péligre Dam.

Our first stop will be at the impressive 72-meter high dam wall, where we will explore the significance of this gravity dam situated on the Artibonite River. This is a perfect moment to enjoy the breathtaking views of Péligre Lake while partaking in a light breakfast featuring coffee, tea, and fresh fruits.

Next, we will visit a local school in Hinche, providing a unique opportunity to interact with students and gain insights into the Haitian education system. As a part of your contribution to this experience, 1 USD will be donated to the school for each individual participating in the tour.

Afterward, we will make our way to Bassin Zim, where we will explore its fascinating caves and ancient indigenous engravings, as well as enjoy a refreshing dive into the local waterfall. It is interesting to note that the community attributes healing properties to these waters.

Concluding our exploration of this distinctive landscape, we will enjoy a traditional Haitian lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a main dish, dessert, and a beverage. We will then return to your hotel around 6 pm, wrapping up a day filled with discovery.
