Multnomah Falls Day Trip
Description
Embark on a remarkable day trip to Multnomah Falls, a shining jewel of nature in Oregon. With stunning waterfalls soaring over 328 feet (100 meters), it's an experience you won't want to miss!
Day Trip to Multnomah Falls
We will commence this unforgettable expedition by picking you up promptly at your hotel in Portland. Are you prepared to delve into one of Oregon's most breathtaking natural wonders?
After about 30 minutes of travel, we’ll arrive at our first stop: the Horsetail Falls, located along the Columbia River, cascading gracefully at a height of 164 feet (50 meters).
Next, we will visit the famed Multnomah Falls, an awe-inspiring waterfall that ranks as the tallest in the state, rising to an impressive 620 feet (189 meters). Almost 2 million visitors are drawn to its beauty each year. We'll make our way to the Benson Bridge to enjoy the splendid views it offers.
Continuing our journey, we will stop at Wahkeena Falls, a name derived from the Yakama word meaning "most beautiful." Experience the refreshing mist as you capture unforgettable moments through your lens.
As we proceed, a scenic viewpoint will offer us the chance to take in the breathtaking sights of Bridal Veil Falls, Shepperd's Dell Falls, and Latourell Falls. Each waterfall enchants with its own unique charm, and during our tour, we will share insights about the diverse plant species that call this area home.
To conclude this captivating day, we'll head to Crown Point lookout, the ideal location to gaze upon the stunning Columbia River Gorge, where vibrant colors dance across the waters and mountains, with the city of Portland glimmering in the background.
After a fulfilling adventure, we will return to our starting point, concluding our journey after approximately 3.5 hours.
