At the scheduled time, we will convene at the Ipiranga gas station, marking the start of our cycling expedition in Porto de Galinhas, a picturesque locality in Pernambuco, celebrated for its stunning crystal-clear waters and framed by lush coconut palm trees.

Once the group is assembled, we will conduct a brief orientation session to ensure the activity proceeds smoothly and safely. Following this, we will embark on our cycling journey through captivating nature trails. Let's begin!

The route will reveal various aspects of Porto de Galinhas, traversing from the native forests to the point where the sea and the Maracaipe River converge. We will navigate through the Atlantic Forest vegetation and pass by mangroves, ultimately reaching the Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Conceição do Outeiro, the highest point of our journey, standing at 85 mi (137 m).

This cycling tour will lead us along the slave route, a significant location for grasping the historical context of Porto de Galinhas. The town's name originates from this era, when it served as a port for the transportation of enslaved individuals, who were often referred to as "chickens of Angola" in boxes.

To conclude our adventure, we will begin our return to the starting point, where we will part ways after a fulfilling excursion lasting 3 hours.
